We at Valor have been consistently impressed with Now Construction across both new build and refurbishment projects. From the bid stage through to delivery, they demonstrate a reactive and collaborative approach that makes the process seamless for us as a client. Their tender submissions are always of a high standard, and they provide pricing that aligns with their ability to deliver.
The delivery teams are experienced, proactive, and professional, consistently producing excellent results on time and within budget. When commercial discussions arise, they are handled promptly and transparently, ensuring decisions are made in the best interest of the project.
To date, we have successfully completed eleven project with Now Construction and currently have three active sites underway. Our positive experience across these projects further reinforces our confidence in their capabilities.
Overall, Valor would highly recommend Now Construction to any prospective client.
Now Construction Limited are in the final stages of delivering our first bespoke
maintenance hangar for Leonardo Helicopters at London Elstree Aerodrome. Our
experience throughout the tender and delivery periods has been nothing but positive - we have had the pleasure of dealing directly with the owners of the business, and the delivery site team have been excellent throughout. The project looks set to complete early and we are delighted with the quality of the build so far.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Now Construction for similar projects.
Gallagher Group have had a long relationship with the owners of Now Construction and are delivering a significant energy project together with our Contracting division (Gallagher Limited) as well as delivering a commercial scheme for Gallagher Properties in Kent. Following the demise of the original contractor for the Costa Coffee and multi-industrial development at Eclipse Park, Maidstone it made sense to talk to Now Construction. We engaged with Now Construction to negotiate the project on a single-track basis in order expedite delays that would have been incurred should we have gone back to the market and re-tendered the scheme. The Now team came to the table promptly and we were able to agree a satisfactory price and programme with minimal impact to the original intent. The onsite performance in respect of their management, quality, safety and programme has been very good and they are on track to complete on time. We would welcome the opportunity to work with them again.
We appointed NOW construction through a competitive tender exercise to complete a £1.7M T-Level refurbishment project at one of our college campuses. The project involved refurbishment of classroom spaces alongside more extensive refurbishment to provide a mock training hospital ward, independent living care flat, lecture hall, gaming suite, nutrition suite and health laboratory as well as a new employer zone and learning resource centre.
The project team were responsible for QS activities, programme management, contractor supply, health and safety and building regulation as well as legals on the contract documentation. From appointment, the team involved in the project were knowledgeable and experienced and whilst this was their first project of this type, their experience on other similar projects was evident. They were professional throughout, kept in regular contact with fortnightly meetings attended by relevant personnel, they highlighted risks as we progressed (although nothing major was identified), communicated well in between formal meetings, appointed a dependable and experienced Site Manager and identified suppliers to ensure the project was delivered to the standard required.
The majority of the build project took place over the Summer 2023 and was completed to programme and within budget. It was a pleasure working with the project team involved and I would have no hesitation in recommending NOW Construction to other organisations and would definitely consider them in the future for other similar projects.
We employed Now Construction to convert our existing music block into a performance area with practice rooms. The works consisted of structural alterations, roof extension, reconfiguration of internal spaces, M&E including new ventilation plant, decorations, floor finishes and specialist furniture.
The project was located within the heart of the school which presented significant logistical challenges for the NCL team; however, these were overcome with no impact to the school. I found Chris Evans and the Now Construction team and their supply chain easy to work with, delivering the project on time to a high standard. I have since awarded them further projects across our Academy Trust.
